Rodrigues Contemporary is a family-led gallery operated by Teresa Rodrigues and her son, Neil Brownell.
For nearly two decades, Teresa has worked as a gallerist, consultant, and painter, developing a deep understanding of contemporary Canadian art and cultivating long-standing relationships with artists and collectors. Her approach is personal and considered, guided by experience and a strong curatorial instinct.
Neil brings a background in both business and the arts. A former entrepreneur in the culinary world, he offers a disciplined approach to client relations and acquisition, supporting the gallery’s focus on thoughtful curation and placement.
Together, they work closely with collectors, presenting contemporary work with care and ensuring each piece is placed where it will be truly valued.

Every collection begins with a conversation.
We take the time to understand your space, your sensibility, and how you want to live with art. This can be done in person or remotely—whatever feels most comfortable.
From there, we present a curated selection of works drawn from our artists and broader network, tailored specifically to you. Rather than overwhelming you with options, we focus on what feels right.
Together, we refine and place each piece with care—ensuring it not only fits your space, but becomes part of how you experience it every day.
