Andrew James Smith
biography
Andrew attended the California College of Arts and Crafts on a full scholarship. He was the resident artist at the Coach House Press, and taught paper making at Massey College. He represented Canada at the 1st Handmade Paper Conference. He was represented by the Isaacs Gallery, Geraldine Davis Gallery, and Gallery Moos, exhibiting in Germany, Brazil, and as far away as Japan. His art is found in major public collections such as Cambridge Galleries, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the National Gallery in Ottawa. He received many awards and was featured in The Globe & Mail, Quill & Quire, Maclean’s, TVO, and FashionTV.
